Diaper Rash Cause

I was beginning to think I was washing the nappies wrong, but I read up on diaper rash and decided it could possibly be my dairy consumption. I cut waaaay back on it, so I'm only having 1-ish serving a day and the rash cleared up. Her little heiney looks great now!

I had to do the same thing with oranges, because she'd get a really angry looking raw ring around her anus. :( Once I cut them out (completely) from my diet she was fine.

Products I'm in love with right now:

1. California Baby Calming Diaper Rash Cream: It's fabulous and you literally only need a pea sized amount...and this will REALLY coat the bottom. I generally use less than that. It's $11.00 a tube, but well worth it. It's cloth diaper safe, so no need for liners.

2. Kolcraft Lights n Vibes bassinet: it was great when she was little, because the bed lifts off the base and I could out her next to our bed. Our bed is low-profile (so to speak)...actually it is a large, thick mattress ob the floor because in this old, quirky house, the queen box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs. Our guest bed has two box springs.

I love it now for the mobile, which fits on her crib.

3. Infantino jungle activity mat: she loves it. I love that the mat can be wiped clean, but is thick enough to ensure her comfort even when on a bare floor.

4. Terry baby washcloths: I use them as cloth wipes for diaper changes. They are great. Not too big and soft enough for baby.

Ugh...

I'm having a down day. Perhaps because little miss didn't sleep much last might, so I'm exhausted.

To boost my mood, I put on my Mossimo jeans from Target. I can't believe 1.) I bought them and 2.) love them! They make me feel like I look good. I like my booty in them. I also put on a pair of my favorite Steve Madden heels. Logical? Nope, but it helped me feel better.

I fixed my hair and out on a favorite shirt.

Now, I'm chilling with my little sweet, watching Long Island Medium and enjoying a cup of decaf.
