Disposable wipes no more

I can't use disposable wipes. After dealing with a terrible rash for a week after my last post, I went back to cloth wipes and water. The rash went away.

I have to keep Kathryn changed and dry. She is very moisture sensitive. I'm going to get some white fleece to make liners for the prefolds. Fleece whicks away the moisture, keeping baby dry. It's cheap and easy too.

Other than that, all is going great.

My fave dipes:
1. KaWaii Heavywetters: Great for moisture sensitive babies like my gal, easy to use, excellent diaper.
2. Cocalo Perfect Bum: I love using these with disposable, compostible inserts. They are trim and fit snugly without being too tight. The one she has is super cute too. Pink with a pink ruffled.
3. Prefolds and covers!! Easy (once you get the gang of the fold) and inexpensive. We are using only KaWaii covers (and they are great), but I'd like to explore Thirsties. I've heard great things about them.

I want to have a good stash so they aren't washed so much they wear out fast.

My least face dipes:
1. Gdiapers. I like how trim they are and I like and use the disposable/compostible inserts. I don't like that they're sized. I don't like the elastic on the liner.  Don't like that they don't have prints. I don't like the velcro in the back.

I'm still experiencing stains. :( That bugs my OCD. I'm trying OxiClean. Hopefully it'll work. It's too cold outside to be hanging diapers. If this doesn't work, I'll use a little bleach and be sure to rinse the heck out of them.
